To enter the water at ease
The calm of entrusting yourself to those who know the sea and prepare every dive with care, long before entering the water.
Safety is Diving Club Cavallo's first commitment and a value that defines its identity. Before any other consideration comes the protection of those who place their trust in the Club.
Every activity is entrusted to competent technical professionals and organised in accordance with the applicable French regulations. The Club invests continually in modern, high-quality equipment — regularly inspected and maintained — as well as in organisational procedures and carefully kept technical documentation.
Every dive is assessed with regard to environmental conditions, the experience of the participants and the guidance of the Directeur de Plongée. When the Club's safety standards cannot be fully guaranteed, activities are modified, postponed or cancelled: no objective ever takes precedence over safety.
The Directeur de Plongée
Every diving activity takes place under the authority of the Directeur de Plongée, who is responsible for the technical organisation and the conditions of safety.
The Directeur de Plongée determines the groups, the parameters and the conditions of access, and may modify or suspend activities when circumstances so require.
Documentation for members
Depending on the activity, members may be asked for the following documentation:
- Identity document
- Diving certification
- Logbook, if required
- Medical certificate, where applicable
- Diving insurance, where required
- Parental authorisation for minors
- Emergency contact
No organisation can guarantee absolute levels of safety. Participation in the activities presupposes an awareness of the risks inherent in diving and adherence to the Club's instructions.
